Article 140a, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. ยง 940a, requires that the military facilitate public access to certain court-martial filings. The Department of the Air Force has determined that Article 140a's public-access requirements apply to court-martial cases preferred on or after 23 December 2020. It has also determined that AFCCA will make such appellate filings publicly available after AFCCA issues an order or opinion terminating an appeal, or an appellant withdraws from appellate review.
Accordingly, AFCCA will provide these appellate filings, when applicable, on its site. |
